Likeness.
Licensed AI likenesses for video ads
Human presence.
On human terms.
We’re building a marketplace where businesses can license a person’s AI likeness for video, with their permission and a payment for every licensed use.
Coming soon. A global ambition, built around consent.

AI video advertising, with permission built in.
AI can change how a video is made. It shouldn’t change who gets a say. Likeness is being built around a simple exchange: a creator agrees to specific uses of their identity, a business licenses those uses, and the creator is paid.
Not a face to own. A likeness to license.
For businesses. A human face for your next idea.
The proposed marketplace will bring casting, creator permissions and campaign licensing into one process. Find the right presence for a product introduction, a brand story or an explainer, then work within the creator’s agreed terms.
Choose a presence, not an audience
A likeness licence is intended to cover an appearance in your content. Posts to a creator’s own channels and access to their audience would be separate agreements.
Know the scope before you make it
The intended licence will identify the brand, script, permitted placements, territory and time period. Requests outside a creator’s permissions will need review or be declined.
Make the video, never get the identity
Businesses would make the approved video on Likeness and get it with its licence, never the raw capture files, a downloadable face model or a reusable voice clone.
For creators. Your likeness. Your boundaries.
You shouldn’t have to give up control to take part in AI. Our planned creator tools put the decisions about future licensed uses in your hands.
Your face can be part of a story.
You should have a say in it.
Set the terms
Choose the categories, brands, territories, formats and licence lengths you are comfortable with. Platform restrictions still apply.
Keep endorsements personal
Permission to appear in a category isn’t permission to say “I use this”. Personal testimonials would require explicit approval for the specific brand.
Be paid for agreed uses
The model is payment when a licence is issued or renewed, not a promise of income from views. Final fees and payout terms will be shared before launch.
Control future use
Creators would be able to pause new licensing. Existing licences would continue according to their agreed terms; a pause is not a promise that published content disappears.
The journey we’re building.
Verify and agree
Adult identity and liveness checks, followed by signed consent, before a creator’s likeness is captured.
Match the permissions
A verified business submits its brand, campaign and script. Platform policy comes first, then the creator’s rules and any required review.
Create and check
The intended video workflow checks the finished content against the approved script and adds clear AI disclosure before the video can be downloaded.
License and pay
A campaign-specific licence records the permitted use, with payment to the creator. Renewals would be a separate, recorded transaction.
This is our intended workflow. Making videos, licensing and payouts are not available yet.
A few important questions.
What is AI likeness licensing?
It is an agreement to use a person’s AI-generated appearance, and voice where agreed, for a defined purpose. The permission should specify what can be made, for which brand, where it can appear and how long it can be used. It is not ownership of that person or unlimited permission to recreate them.
Can I start making videos on Likeness today?
Not yet. Likeness is in development. You can register interest as a creator or business when our waitlists open. Joining a waitlist does not create an account or grant a licence. Making videos, purchases and payouts are not open, and we haven’t announced a launch date.
Will I be able to use any celebrity or creator?
No. Only adults who complete the required verification and agreements could be listed. No celebrity partnerships or public talent roster have been announced. People pictured on this page are fictional AI-generated illustrations.
Does a licence include an endorsement or a social media post?
Not automatically. A spokesperson read, a personal testimonial and a post to a creator’s own channel are different uses. Personal endorsement and channel posting would require their own explicit agreement.
What does the business get?
The business makes an approved video on Likeness and gets it with an agreed-use licence. Businesses would not receive a creator’s raw capture media, underlying likeness model or reusable voice clone.
How would creators get paid?
Our planned model pays creators for licence issues and renewals, with a platform fee supporting the marketplace. Prices, deductions and payout terms are still being finalised. There is no guaranteed income, and no real payments are processed through this page.
What happens when a creator changes their mind?
The planned controls allow creators to pause new licensing and manage future permissions. Existing licensed uses would remain governed by their signed terms. Revocation, removal and dispute processes need to be clear before any real campaign begins.
Where will Likeness launch?
Likeness is being built for a global audience. Availability will depend on the relevant legal, verification, payment and production requirements in each market. Registering interest does not guarantee availability in your country.
A new way to be in the picture.
For businesses with a story to tell. For people who want a say in how their likeness is used. We’re building the connection, carefully.
Register your interest. Marketplace accounts, purchases and payouts are not open yet.
